2018 Pierre Roussel memorial Lecture and Annual Meeting

The 2018 Pierre Roussel Memorial Lecture delivered by Emeritus Professor Robert Clancy AM FRS(N) followed immediately after the 2018 Annual general Meeting on Saturday November 17.

Topic: “French Science in Australia - A legacy of Laperouse and the French Enlightment”

Professor Robert Clancy is a past president of the Friends and a Life Member.  

He is the Foundation Professor of Pathology, Newcastle Medical School, Clinical Immunologist, with research interests in Mucosal Immunology and Oral Vaccine Development and Historic Cartography of Australia and Antarctica, History of Medicine and Science, with books, articles, lectures and exhibitions, and collection of maps relevant to the cartographic interest.
